Healthy and easy to make, 番節抹醬 Fanjei Mojiang (Tomallow Paste)!


  • Middle size tomato 1
  • Chopped onion 20g
  • Chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Thin baby mallow 1
  • Olive oil 30 ml
  • Sauce
  • Sweel basil herbs and spices 1tsp
  • Seasoning
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce 1 tbsp


A. Veggies
  1. Draw an "X" on the bottom of the tomato and boil / steam it until it's soft.
  2. Fry the pan with olive oil in middle small heat and join the chopp onion and garlic when the pan is hot.
  3. Meanwhile cut the baby mallow and boiled / steamed tomato into small cubs.
  4. Fry the tomato cubs when the onion is soft and can be seen through.
  5. When it's slightly boiling join the seasonings as per sauce ingredient, slightly stir and mix with baby mallow.
