Fried Gnocchi

It's very interesritng that the difference between Chinese Gnocchi (麵疙瘩)and gnocchi is adding potato. Potato brings the soft tender flavor which is totally oppsite with Chinese one, it's more like hard tender taste. Both are tasty and fulling though!! So I made gnocchi the other night and the first we had it, it was more like Chinese flavor..I was thinking I'm failed again. But this time, the fried gnocchi tasted like real gnocchi.... Who can tell me, what's wrong / right!!????


  • Homemade Gnocci 1 middle bowl
  • The choice of Veggie 1 cup
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Seasoning
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp. ( Or black pepper)
  • Water 2 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon juice 1 tsp


A. Fried Knocchi
  1. Heat the pan middle heat with Olive oil.
  2. Cut the veggies and get gnocci ready. 
  3. Stri Fried the veggies, turn to high heat and join the gnocchi.
  4. Add all the seasonings except the lemon juice, boil and turn to low heat.
  5. Cook until everything is evenly socking the sauce, turn off heat and mix with lemon juice well.
